In making the webform, we focused on what users need, tested out ideas, and made improvements based on what they said. We wanted to make sure the experience was easy to understand and enjoyable for users. We followed a design process called Double Diamond to guide us through these steps.

Understanding Users' Needs: Immersion and Exploration

To really get what admin users and endpoint users want from web forms, we need to step into their world. We want to see things from their perspective, understand their journey, and learn about the challenges they face. Immersing ourselves in their environment helps us find out things we might miss from far away.

User Interviews:

Talking to admin and endpoint users is a great way to learn from them. We ask them questions about what they do, what problems they have, and what they want from web forms. Admin users might talk about managing the system, reporting needs, and what features they need. Endpoint users might share their experiences with using web forms and what they find easy or hard.

Ease of Use: Google Forms & Wufoo win for simplicity, while Jotform & SurveyMonkey have steeper learning curves due to more features. Typeform strikes a balance.

Customization: Jotform offers the most customization options, followed by SurveyMonkey and Typeform. Google Forms & Wufoo offer limited visual customization.

Features: SurveyMonkey has the most advanced features for complex surveys(involving logic jumps), followed by Jotform. Google Forms, Wufoo, and Typeform cater more to basic needs.
